Karl Denson will be performing with The New Mastersounds at the Blue Nile late-night show in New Orleans on Tuesday April 29th. Karl is known for his sax and flute work with Lenny Kravitz, The Greyboy Allstars and his own band, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe and was a guest performer on the US-version of the 2005 NMS album This is What We Do. If reciprocal sit-ins between Karl and Eddie in the past are anything to go by, this promises to be a very special show, so book early!

We're just home, still buzzing from an amazing 2 week tour - 2 great slots at Langerado Music Festival, followed by a road trip from Atlanta to NYC. As word spread up the coast the shows got even busier, with Philly and New York selling out. We encountered such incredible enthusiasm and dedication from music-lovers along the way and want to say a hearty thank you to all of you who showed your support and made the trip such a success. We'll see quite a few of you next month in NOLA, and we hope to come back to the East Coast again later in the year. Big love from Si, Pete, Joe and Eddie.

Interesting feature on the excellent All Music blog. Now that elements of the classic funk/soul sound are showing up again on mainstream records, journalists are starting to connect the dots. It's a shame Top of the Pops was axed from BBC1 - they'd surely have had us on there miming to One Note Brown.
