Competition rules and instructions

• Download the remix parts to the song. There are two free parts available that are not part of the premium package, and also a premium package containing all parts to song — including the full version of the original — for $3.99 USD. Please note: The contest is being judged on originality of remix, not sound quality. You do not need to download the WAV files to enter the remix contest, unless of course you want to. If your remix is chosen as a winner, there will be time to have your tracks mastered to highest quality.
• Remix the track into your chosen style. All genres are welcome.
• Submit your remix as a 192kbps MP3 file (max file size 8MB) to remix@newmastersounds.com. All entries must include full contact details, telephone number and postal address.
• The submission phase of the Remix Competition starts on 23rd June 2008 at 00:00 and ends on 31st August 2008 23:59.
• Remixes will be judged by record label and announced on Beatportal on 22nd September 2008.
• The winning remix will be released on Beatsource, and the winner will receive the full 7-album NMS CD catalog:  Keb Darge Presents (2001) Be Yourself (2003) This is What We Do (2005) Live at La Cova (2006) 102% (2006) Re:Mixed (2007) Plug & Play (2008).
• Tracks using uncleared samples from sources outside of these remix parts will be disqualified.
• All remixes submitted for this contest become the legal property of record label.
• All trademarks and logos are protected. All rights of the producer and the owner of the recorded work are reserved. Unauthorized copying, hiring, renting, public performance and broadcasting of this record, remix or remix parts is prohibited.
